Three killed in jeep accident

At least three people died and other three were injured in a jeep accident that took place at Bannigadhi Jayagadh rural municipality-5, Sukibag in Achham last night.
The jeep (Se 1 Ja 995) en route to Jayagadh from Mujabagar of Ramaroshan rural municipality skidded off 500 metres down the road at Sukibag along the Jayagadh-Majhethana road section at around 8.30 pm.
Ashok Pariyar of Bannigadhi Jayagadh rural municipality-4 died on the spot while Kale Pariyar of the same place and Lal Bohora, jeep driver of Baitadi, breathed their last in course of treatment, police confirmed.
The injured are Tarka Timilsina of Jayagadh rural municipality-4, Jangir Chaudhary of Ghodaghodi municipality, Kailali and Ghanashyam Chaudhary of Dhangadhi sub-metropolis, Kailali. They are receiving treatment at Bayalpata Hospital in Achham and their condition is normal, said Janak Bahadur Shahi, Deputy Superintendant of Police (DSP) of District Police Office, Achham
It is speculated that the accident was occurred due to high speed of the jeep. Further investigation into the accident is underway, said DSP Shahi.
