PM Oli returns home after Europe visit

Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli returned home today following his Europe visit.
The Prime Minister had embarked on his weeklong Europe visit on June 8. As part of the visit, he attended the Centenary Session of International Labour Organisation (ILO) on June 10 in Geneva of Switzerland. During the trip, he and his delegation visited the United Kingdom followed by France. Speaker Krishna Bahadur Mahara, National Assembly, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Defence Ishwor Pokhrel, Home Minister Ram Bahadur Thapa and Nepal Communist Party ( NCP)’s parliamentary deputy leader Subash Nepal , among others reached Tribhuvan International Airport to welcome Prime Minister.
On the occasion, a contingent of Nepal Army presented a guard of honour to the Head of the Government. Ministers, government senior officers, chiefs of security bodies and chiefs of Nepal-based diplomatic missions were also in attendance. The Prime Minister’s entourage included his spouse Radhika Shakya, Minister for Foreign Affairs, Pradeep Kumar Gyawali; Minister for Employment and Social Security, Gokarna Bista; chief political advisor to the Prime Minister, Bishnu Rimal; foreign affairs advisor, Dr Rajan Bhattarai; press advisor Kundan Aryal and lawmakers Bimal Prasad Shreewastav and Binda Pandey.
The delegation had left home for Geneva on June 8.
